We're Still Here

In case you were wondering.

Needless to say, we've been a bit too busy to write anything on here since school resumed. Now there is too much to say. So here are the things we have photographic evidence of.

Angie and I converged on Logan in the middle of the summer and joined Shannon to see Eclipse together and eat at Logan Burgers. Both things were delicious.

I joined Lexi, Kandra, and their siblings for a day of fun at Raging Waters.
Lexi only got stuck once. :)

Brittany, Angie, and I took a hiking class.

For one day.

At least it was pretty.

On September 23rd, we took a short-notice trip to Pocatello (the armpit of Idaho) to see Sara Bareilles. TJ and her friend joined us. We saw a singing-Chad double.

It was worth the 4 hours of driving, I promise.
Lexi, Kandra, and I celebrated my birthday by watching USU beat BYU in football. We took pizza into the stadium and had a great time despite the 90 degree weather. Shorts in October!

Kandra and I joined Ian and Jaron at the Paint Dance as the kick-off for Homecoming Week.
The Homecoming game was not as exciting as the BYU game. It was mostly cold and wet, but also losing by 38 points is a bit depressing. And much to our dismay, it meant the summer weather was over and fall hit us.
At least it is pretty.

We went to the annual Pumpkin Walk:

And, as is tradition, we stuffed to many people into one vehicle to get there!

That is basically all of the cool things we have done in the past six months. Everything else (school, movies, work, moving, etc.) is apparently unimportant.

Also, Angie has stepped away from the sweet joyful comfort of Old Maid-hood and got herself a boyfriend. Good thing Sabel is cool and we can still be friends.

We ARE college students

The Pancake Commandment:
Thou shalt not use only one banana to make banana pancakes. Two or more is necessary.

The Crab-tastrophe:
Lady Augustine Habendasher, our beloved month-old crab, also known as 'bat-crab', was found dead under her beloved tree on Thursday, April 15th. A small burial and memorial service was held that night in the Old Farm area.

Spring Break:
Was awesome. And a month ago (March 12-17).
Here's the breakdown.
Thursday: We Cleaned the Sink at Angie's.

Friday: We drove from Logan to Salt Lake and stayed at Anna's house.

Saturday: We drove from Salt Lake to St. George and got stopped by a snow storm. Thank you spring break.

We also went to a Mexican restaurant and got virgin Margaritas. Anthony, our waiter, didn't like us much.

Sunday: We went to the second half of some random stake conference and then toured the Brigham Young home.

And the St. George Tabernacle.

And the Jacob Hamblin home.

On the way home we saw this interesting road. . .

Monday: We met Shannon and Dimri in Las Vegas and spent the day there. We went to Hard Rock Cafe where our waiter, Anthony, was very strange.

We also saw Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian.

Tuesday: After returning to St. George at three in the morning, we slept in and then went to Zion National Park.

Wednesday: We checked out of the lovely Holiday Inn we had been staying at. . .

and went to the St. George Temple to do baptisms.

We stopped at In-and-Out before driving back to Salt Lake, to drop Anna off.
Angie and Lexi carried on and completed the journey at their homes in Idaho.

Sable came to visit yesterday:
Angie decided to stay in Anna's club. Lexi has strep throat. Guess it is a good thing Brittany's never here.
