So here I am, writing on a blog for no reason other than "I felt like it."
Yesterday, I got carried away blog-stalking and decided that other people's lives are more exciting than mine. If that is the case, you wonder, why write about it? Well I'll tell you.
Instead of doing my homework (which at this point is writing lesson plans and deciding what to teach 27 fourth graders), I came up with this list:
Things I wish I could do right now: (in no particular order)
- Watch Psych
- Watch MI-5 Season 5
- Catch up on House Season 6
- Finish The Lightning Thief
- Read other books for fun
- Watch movies with my friends
- Hang out with my friends in Logan
- Go through all my old school things
- Learn new songs on the guitar
- Play violin until my fingers hurt
- Swing on the swings in my backyard
- Write on my blog (I’m doing that right now!)
- Play the Wii for as long as I like
- Take a long bath and paint my toenails
- -While watching Pride and Prejudice
- Go on a date with someone who actually likes me
- Help Angie with her wedding plans
- Turn in my papers so I know where I’m going
- Have Pirate Night and watch Muppet Treasure Island
- Go ice skating
- Make an exotic dinner
- Go to the Pupusarie with everyone who knows what that is
- Make jewelry or something out of clay
- Write in my journal
- Talk with Lexi and listen to Kandra for hours
- Stay with Alan and Kristin for a while
- Use my passport to go somewhere awesome
- Do something helpful or charitable
- Take Jonas bowling
- Make heart-shaped cookies and decorate them
Of course, after I wrote this I actually accomplished several things:
- Saw Sleeping Beauty the ballet
- Babysat 5 boys under the age of six (Which was a little traumatic. And bloody.)
- Wrote lesson plans for all of Monday
- Created 2 center activities
- Got 28 Valentines ready
- Made a seating chart (During church. Shhh!)
- organized my student teaching binder
- Watched an episode of Psych (One thing off my list!)
- Cleaned the kitchen
On the bright side, I have two 4-day weeks in a row! Huzzah!
In other news, Angie bought a dress! That's one thing off her list!
And on my list was "Catch up on blogs". Hey I finally got to it! Of course, who knows what I'll teach tomorrow in class, but hey! Life just works out like that sometimes.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I really want to join you for:
1,5,8,9,10,11,13,14,15,19,24,26,27, 28 and 29. 30 would be a little silly at this point, but Jello Eggs are coming soon!
